Dulana Reese

Bio
Dulana Reese is a Mississippi native living and thriving in Chicago. She serves as the Chief of Staff for State Representative Kam Buckner. In this capacity, she supports the representative by building relationships with community stakeholders, inspiring their team to go above and beyond, ensuring the community’s voices are heard.
Dulana believes in giving back to communities that helped her to grow into the person she is today. In her hometown, she established the Reese Foundation Scholarship to give to a deserving high school senior who has aspirations to make Mississippi better. She serves as Councilwoman on South Loop Elementary’s Local School Council, where she the chair of the communications committee.
She graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s in Communications Studies, and earned a Master’s in Public Service Management from DePaul University. In her spare time she loves exploring outside, reading, listening to music, and playing Fortnite with her nephew.
